Resolutions for 2011 - Looking Forward and Not Looking Back

The holiday season is amongst us and it seems that the year 2010 is just starting, but as everyone knows, 2011 is just days away. Allot has happened in 2010, good and bad. Now is not the time to look back and criticize on what didn't get done, but to concentrate on what needs to get done from now and into the future. My job is pretty steady with IBM, but on the home front, I recently lost my mother in August. But now it's time to make a New Year's resolution and already I'm kind of excited with the upcoming year.

Some of my plans are as follows:

Loose weight and exercise more.
Pay off remaining existing bills.
Purchase a home.
Promotion at work into management.
Re-marry in the Catholic Church.
Possible children in the future.
Start my own business.
Start plans for possible retirement in 5 years.

That above just mentioned may seem allot, but that's just the beginning. Those are my own plans for 2011.

For my wife Virginia, I know of a few, but not sure exactly what she plans to accomplish in 2011.

Go to school to become a nurse.
Start teaching.
Re-marry in the Catholic Church.
Children.
Purchase a home.

So as you can see, there are a few things that both of us want to happen in 2011, and I'm going to do everything possible to make it all happen.

I hope that everyone who reads this blog has set their New Year's resolution for 2011, and I wish everyone the best of the upcoming year. Happy holidays to all and please don't forget about me, as I'm hoping that everyone who reads this blog will come back and read more next year.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL.....

Christmas Gifts That Are Considered Special

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to determine that there are several outlets available to purchase Christmas presents then by driving to a local store to do so. If interested in womens or mens xmas presents, maybe this year may be the time for that very unique gift. As you may expect, it is now just a week before Christmas and it may be difficult to get the gift delivered in time. But there are companies out there that can go that extra mile to make sure the gift arrives before Christmas.  How about a unique gift called a 'beer holster', which can be used to help keep both hands free doing other things. How about slippers that are not just slippers!! How about the materials to brew your own beer at home. These are just a few of the items available that may not necessarily be available at your local store around the corner.

Quality Bearing Products for a Variety of Uses on Sale for the Holidays

Bearing suppliers do not necessarily supply wide ranges of products, but there is a company out there that supplies ball bearings, and various other types. Tools used to insert and remove bearings are also available. At the present time, there are sales geared towards Christmas shopping, but actually will end on December 31st. It should be a no-brainer to purchase these products from a company that has been supplying 'Industrial Products Since 1948'. Online, you can search for the best deals and purchase your bearing products. These can be made of bronze, stainless steal and other materials to provide the exact product you may need.

South Korea Commences with Military Drills

Unexpected developments, or should I say unbelievable developements occured today as South Korea started military drills to the southwest of one of the occupied islands just 7 miles from the North Korean border. I have been watching this conflict closely, and have been reporting on my Obama blog (http://www.obamainthewhitehouse.us), all the activity, and expectations of what may come out of such military drills.
Briefly, North Korea may now attack South Korea, but at the present time is playing what can be called 'a game of chicken'. The North Korean's have yet to respond to the military drills, as they say they consider the drills close to their border provocation, and therefore will respond with military force.
It is my stance, that this provocation by the South can result in a major war, affecting and literally ending several thousands of lives. Talks which were started by Russia, to include the United States, North Korea, South Korea and China failed to at least pass a resolution that would condemn North Korea for responding to South Korea's military exercises with deadly force. If such a condition does exist now that the South has commenced with the exercises, South Korea is expect to respond swiftly with force, with the United States backing. Presently, there are several thousands of American troops situated in South Korea with U.S. military force that will be used, especially if North Korea uses nuclear force in an attempt to show its might.
