Best Game in Football - Last day of Regular Season 2009

Today in sports, is a day that ALL professional football players wish they could be witness to, as in this case, the Dallas Cowboys will meet the Philadelphia Eagles in the last day of the regular season. Why is this day so special? Both teams want to win the division title for the NFC East. Both have already clinched a playoff birth, but the winner of this game not only will beat the other out of the title, but will also win a playoff game at home, and posibilly a first round bye in the playoffs. The Dallas Cowboys, now in second place with a record of (10-5), are going to play the division leading Philadelphia Eagles (11-4). The outcome is fairly simple. If Dallas wins, they will gain the same record (11-5) as Philadelphia.  But back on November 22th, Dallas beat Philadelphia 20-16. This means that Dallas would win the tiebreaker record of 11-5 and become division champs.
It is a dream game, and will be the most watched game on TV for the last football Sunday of the season, and most likely both teams will go out and give their best effort to win. It should be an exciting game, and a high scoring game. Most likely, the team with the least penalties and the team that stays on the field longer will win the game. Kickoff time has been changed to 3:15PM Dallas Central Time.
No matter who wins, they both make it to the playoffs. This will be a game of which team just wants to win more. Both teams are tough, and both are fairly healthy for this time of year, Dallas more than Philadelphia. The game will be played in Dallas, and the home team will be playing this game as if it were the super bowl. After all it is the last game of the season, and in an upsetting home opener in their new stadium, the Cowboys lost to the New York Giant in front to over 100,000 fans by a score of 33-31. They will do everything they can to make sure that the loss experienced to the Giants in the beginning of the season will not happen again.
