Pond Pumps Available

Here is something you may not know, but if you have a water fountain in your backyard that is attached to a pond, it is very important that you circulate the water in the pond feeding your pump. Why? The answer may not be obvious but mostly it would be to keep out musty water odor and discoloration with you fountain. There are internal and external pond pumps, depending on the actual size of the water mass that will be using the pond pump. So what must it actually do? Of course it is used to pump and circulate the water but the entire body of water that it services should be pumped once per hour. That means a 2000 gallon body of water must be pumped by a device that can pump at least 2000 gallons of water or more per hour. As you might expect, these pumps are much larger than fish tank pumps, but basically serve the same reason.
