The Christmas Season - A happy time of Year

'Tis the season to be jolly' a famous lyric, as one of the more famous songs and most renown since the beginning of Christmas, "Deck the Halls", is just one of those seasonal songs that brings out the best of people, young and old alike.
At school, children take time out with their teachers to since Christmas songs and 'hymns'. At work, those yearly Christmas parties bring out the best in some people. A simple thing like singing a song allows people to feel the traditions of Christmas. At home, you can find yourself singing Christmas hymns and songs in your favorite form of Karaoke, as my family did this year. We had a chance to take some time out from work and celebrate with some of our closest friends.
Others like to celebrate this time of year because it reflects the dawn of a new year. Now with just less than a week to go, people are stirring around making last minute purchases, and preparing to welcome the new year. Yes, this is one of the most happy times of the year, but unfortunately, it seems to come so fast, and before you know it, it's January and you have to wait until next year to do it all over again. Some people hate to see it go, as then it's time to get back to work and get into the same daily grind all over again. Others, look at it as an opportunity to not look back and start 'anew'. Regardless of how you look at it, this time of year is always special to me.
